How this fishing guide uses information when you visit.

Saved waters and location

Saved stream sections stay in your browser's local storage. There is no account or server-side saved-water profile. Clearing this site's browser storage removes saved sections and your analytics preference.

Near me asks for your permission to use your device location. Coordinates stay in memory while the page is open and are used to calculate distances to stream sections. We do not save those coordinates or include them in our analytics events. You can deny or revoke location permission in your browser settings and still search by water or county.

Visits and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and use of the water finder, guides, and links. Google Analytics can use cookies and receive device, browser, and network information, including your IP address. Our custom events exclude typed searches and precise device coordinates. We remove query strings from the page address supplied to analytics and send only the referring site's origin. Google advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

Use Analytics preferences at the bottom of this page to turn our analytics off or on. We also honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Turning analytics off stops future collection by our analytics loader; it does not delete data already received by Google. You can remove existing cookies using your browser settings.

Hosting, maps, and affiliate links

Cloudflare hosts this site and processes requests needed to deliver and protect it. OpenStreetMap provides map tiles, and Awin provides affiliate images. Your browser shares network information, such as its IP address, with those services when their content loads. Map tile requests identify the map area you view. Analytics preferences do not disable these connections.

Amazon and Awin affiliate links can identify this site as the source of a referral. Retailers and affiliate networks may use their own cookies or other information after you follow a link. Their privacy policies and settings govern that activity. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.

Forms and personal information

This site does not offer an account, email signup, or catch-report submission form. We do not ask you to submit your name, email address, or payment information. Purchases happen on the retailer's site.

Service privacy policies

Read Google's privacy policy, Cloudflare's privacy policy, OpenStreetMap's privacy policy, Awin's privacy policy, and Amazon's privacy notice for their information handling and available controls.
