Laurel Hill Creek: sections, stocking & trip planning

Laurel Hill Creek fishing guide with official PFBC stream sections, boundary descriptions, regulation links, and published 2026 stocking dates.

Source review: September 6, 2026 · Independent guide

Laurel Hill Creek and Laurel Hill Lake are different fishing destinations. Use the creek’s section numbers below for flowing water, and the state park’s lake guide when planning a day on the impoundment.

Choose your section before choosing tackle.

The PFBC 2026 GIS snapshot contains 6 sections under this stream name. Each row below is a specific reach, with its own boundary descriptions and regulation link. The wording of the limits is preserved from PFBC.

Considering the lake instead?

DCNR’s Laurel Hill State Park fishing guide describes the 63-acre lake and an accessible fishing pier near the creek bridge. Its warmwater and coldwater species offer a different trip from fishing a creek section.

For historical context, the May 2023 PFBC lake survey describes deeper water along the east bank and a shallower western flat. Those are survey observations from 2023, not a report of current conditions.

Access and conditions

A mapped stocked section is not an access easement. Use signed public entrances and confirm parking locally. The map in our water finder marks section midpoints rather than parking lots, boat launches, or safe wading routes.

Compare nearby USGS streamflow observations with your intended reach. A gauge elsewhere on a watershed may not reflect conditions at your access point.

Source and coverage

Section boundaries and designations: PFBC’s 2026 stocked stream-section GIS layer. Snapshot retrieved 2026-09-06T05:21:04.986811+00:00. Dated events come from the linked PFBC water schedules. No current catch report or fish count is inferred from these records.

Keep planning.
